Some Bonus Beans

I had built a bean fence along half of the North wall of my garden this year. It worked out really well, but I still couldn't help but let some wayward volunteers have at it in the center of the garden where the cilantro was taking a break.
Harvest Time

We finally found the time to harvest these beans. We probably could've brought in a good haul a couple weeks ago or so, but I'm happy with the 9 lbs we brought in, plus the pound or so we harvested a couple of days sooner to have with dinner.

This was the earliest photo I could find of our bean fence. Off to a great start after about 2 to 3 weeks after planting.

It's always amazing to me to see how these viny plants climb, and so quickly, too!
